I've finally finished something, a short story I call Terian's Misadventure. But, I have no idea where to go to get the thing published. So here I am, sitting here, google-ing every publisher I can think of, trying to rememeber which ones do short stories, when I think, maybe someone here knows a good short story publisher? Help me, please. Someone's got to know a good publisher. So I can get my name out there before I graduate High School. 'Cause that's a goal of mine. One I intend to reach.
INformation... about 12 pages long, fantasy, somewhat funny, quirky characters, etc, that kind of thing.

Here in belgium there are enough of those publishers but they're publishing al in dutch so I can't help you there.
Just a request but could you send it to me maybe I like to read such things. I'm practicly made of horror and fantasy ;D

i think people are twisted and ... *screams* i'm going to go insane evil nonsense... I need a whatchamacallit... an agent. 'cause freelance writering-teenagers have no chance in the industry.

E-mail it to me. I wanna check it out. And yeah, they are a pregnant dog ain't they. Thats why I only got published through school. Your english teacher can't help you though? I'm surprised. My creative writing teacher was very supportive of us hopefully up and coming writers. Look through my papers back home, there might be nuts in there. Though I admit it is a lot of papers.

My English teacher looked surprised that I was writing on my own, and directed me to a school librarian. Who directed me to go to the public library and they told me to borrow a certain book, which I have been looking at. There are a few publishers that don't require agents. I just need a few trusted friends to look over my story before sending it in.
*teary eyes* you actually posted on my site *hugs & introduces* everyone this is my sister. she's awesome, the reason i started to read, and the reason i started to write.
